SOS Children’s villages
This mission is fulfilled via our 2 main programs: The Family-Based Care Program & the Family Strengthening Program. These 2 programs complement each other and serve at securing a loving & nurturing environment for children to strive
In addition to its two core programs, SOS Children’s Village Lebanon provides short-term emergency assistance in incidents that affect children and families during times of crisis. Following the Beirut Port blast on August 4, 2020, SOS Lebanon initiated its Emergency Response Program (ERP).

Goals
The SOS idea and educational concept have proven to be the first best alternative to a natural family worldwide. Today, there are SOS Children’s Villages on all five continents; more than 440 SOS Children’s Villages spread out in 135 countries, including nine Arab countries.

Each SOS child has an SOS mother. She is the primary caregiver who lives with her SOS children and secures the homey atmosphere they were deprived of
The Siblings at SOS Children's Villages
Each SOS child has SOS brothers and sisters. They share the joys of family life and build lifelong relationships with each other
The House at SOS Children's Villages
Each SOS child lives in an SOS”home.”. Home is where the children grow up within their families like any regular family, sharing meals around the dining room table, watching television in the evening, and going to sleep at night in a warm, cozy bed.
The Village of SOS Children's Villages
The children grow up in an SOS village. This is where the children build their first experience towards a healthy social life. In the village, the children receive the support and assistance of the village director and a specialized pedagogical team.
