We are dedicated to contributing to accessibility and sustainability of Lebanon’s educational landscape. Mission Education’s approach integrates financial assistance and programs that promote life-long learning, well-being, and civic engagement to shape a better future for Lebanon
History
Goals
- Foster holistic development in students, by promoting lifelong learning and civic responsibility
- To cover more students and schools
- Strengthen partnerships with local schools and NGOs
- Integrate environmental education and social-emotional learning
In 2024, Mission Education has financially supported
Since 2020, Mission Education has raised over $125,000 USD
- 155 students and 140 teachers,
- 200 students participated in Michwar bi Baladi,
- 25 teachers participated in the “Bien-Etre & Espoir” pilot project in collaboration with Be Peace, Be Hope NGO.
- covered the tuition over 1,200 students
- supported 550 teachers in 13 schools,
- providing partial or full academic scholarships,
- funding teachers’ salaries & transportation
Tuitions
Allow children and teachers to stay in their school by financing tuition, salaries and transport
Energy
Ensuring their energy costs (solar panels or national electricity solution) through partnerships with other NGOs
Meshwar Bi Baladi
Through outings in nature with specialized guides, children will work on accepting differences, preventing discrimination, building self-esteem, and anchoring in their culture and environment. These outings will systematically include children from different schools, regions, and backgrounds
Espoir & Bien Etre
With Karine Parker LeMoyne, teachers are during 5 weeks on how to curb external pressure and look for internal peace first
